Travel: Required to multiple locations within the region
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess students physical, sensory, and cognitive abilities to develop individualized intervention plans
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to implement therapy goals aligned with educational standards
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to support student engagement and independence in the classroom
- Document progress and communicate effectively with the multidisciplinary team
- Participate in training and contribute to inclusive learning environments
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
- Licensed occupational therapist with credentials to work in school settings
- Experience delivering therapy services to children in educational environments
- Ability to manage scheduled travel to various school sites efficiently
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working collaboratively with students, families, and staff
- Knowledge of IDEA and other educational regulations related to special education services
