Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A clinical occupational therapy professional is needed to provide support within a school setting. This role involves working closely with students to help improve their functional abilities and participation in educational activities. The position is based in Minot, ND, and includes traveling to multiple schools within the district to deliver therapy services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and develop individualized treatment plans for students requiring occupational therapy services
- Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions to address fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other healthcare professionals to create a supportive learning environment
- Maintain thorough documentation of therapy sessions and student progress
- Participate in team meetings, IEP development, and case conferences as required
- Travel between assigned schools within the district to provide consistent therapy services
Preferred Qualifications:
- License to practice occupational therapy in the state
- Experience working in school or pediatric environments
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage caseload independently and efficiently
- Willingness and ability to travel regularly within the district
