Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity involves providing occupational therapy services within school settings, primarily supporting students' developmental and educational needs. The role includes travel to various school locations within the Phoenix, AZ area to deliver hands-on therapy and collaborate with educational staff.
Responsibilities:
- Assess student needs and develop individualized occupational therapy plans
- Implement therapeutic interventions to improve fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities
- Work closely with teachers and school personnel to integrate therapy goals into classroom activities
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
- Provide consultation and training to school staff and families as needed
- Travel between multiple school sites within the assigned region
Qualifications:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) credential in Arizona
- Experience in pediatric occupational therapy, preferably within school environments
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, parents, and educators
- Ability to travel as required within the Phoenix metropolitan area
