A part-time contract opportunity is available for a bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) specializing in teletherapy services within K-12 education. This role is conducted virtually and requires fluency in Spanish to support evaluations and therapy for students in the Virginia Beach area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct teletherapy and telespeech evaluations and interventions for K-12 students.
- Manage case documentation and reporting in compliance with educational and clinical guidelines.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams through virtual platforms to support student progress.
- Provide approximately two to three evaluations per week on an as-needed basis.
Qualifications:
- Active Virginia state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist is required.
- Proficiency in Spanish, both written and spoken, to effectively serve bilingual students.
- Familiarity with teletherapy delivery models and digital platforms.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
Assignment Details:
- Location: Virtual (serving students in the Virginia Beach area)
- Contract duration: January 5, 2026, through June 16, 2026
- Work schedule: Part-time, as-needed basis (PRN)
- Population served: K-12 students
- Caseload: Approximately 2-3 evaluations weekly
