Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A School Psychologist opportunity is available to support elementary students in grades K-5. This role involves conducting psychological assessments, participating in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, and collaborating with educators and families to support student success. While the position is based in Dickson, TN, consideration will be given to qualified candidates who can provide services remotely. Preference will be given to providers able to work onsite to foster close collaboration with the school team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments for elementary students
- Interpret test results and prepare comprehensive reports
- Lead and actively participate in IEP meetings to develop tailored student support plans
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to address student needs
- Provide recommendations for interventions and accommodations to support learning and development
- Maintain compliance with relevant educational and legal standards
Desired Qualifications:
- Degree and certification in School Psychology
- Experience working with elementary-aged children (K-5)
- Proficiency in conducting and interpreting psychological testing
- Strong understanding of IEP processes and special education regulations
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Availability for onsite work preferred; remote candidates considered
