Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A School Psychologist is needed to support elementary students (grades K-5) in a school setting. This contract position primarily involves conducting psychological testing, participating in IEP meetings, and providing services tailored to the needs of young learners. The ideal candidate will have experience working with elementary-aged children and a strong understanding of educational psychology practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and testing for students in grades K-5
- Participate actively in IEP meetings to discuss evaluations and develop appropriate educational plans
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student development and address behavioral or learning concerns
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for all assessments and meetings
- Support social-emotional and behavioral interventions as needed
Desired Qualifications:
- Credentialed School Psychologist with relevant licensure or certification
- Experience working primarily with elementary school students
- Expertise in psychological testing and interpretation within a school environment
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and families
- Ability to work on-site preferred; virtual candidates with appropriate experience will be considered
