Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time telehealth psychologist role supporting K-12 students in a remote capacity is available. This contract position requires applying expertise in delivering psychological services to elementary, middle, and high school students through virtual platforms. The focus will be on addressing individual student needs, collaborating with school staff remotely, and implementing evidence-based interventions across a diverse student population.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting telepsychological assessments and evaluations for students in grades Pre-K through 12
- Providing counseling and crisis intervention services via telehealth
- Collaborating with educators and families to develop and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Documenting all assessments, interventions, and communications in compliance with school district guidelines
- Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards in telehealth delivery
Qualifications sought:
- Must hold licensure as a psychologist in Louisiana and also be fully licensed in the home state if residing outside Louisiana
- A minimum of three years of experience working as a school psychologist within school settings
- Demonstrated experience working with Louisiana schools preferred
- Proficiency in teletherapy methods with prior remote service delivery experience
- Comfortable engaging with students across elementary to high school age groups
