An opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to provide specialized services to students in a virtual, school-based setting. This full-time contract role supports the second semester with the potential for yearly renewal. The position operates on a 1099 contract basis and does not offer benefits.
Key Qualifications:
- Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist with active certification in Louisiana; out-of-state applicants must have current certification in both their home state and Louisiana
- Proven experience working in school-based settings
- Demonstrated proficiency in teletherapy service delivery
- Comfortable working independently within a remote environment
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering comprehensive speech-language pathology evaluations and interventions tailored to pediatric school-aged children
- Collaborating remotely with educators, families, and support staff to create individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Documenting and maintaining accurate records of student progress and therapy sessions in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Utilizing teletherapy platforms effectively to engage students and achieve therapy goals
- Adhering to confidentiality protocols and professional standards at all times
