Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A School Psychologist role is available to support elementary students in a dynamic educational setting. This position primarily involves working with children in grades K-5, focusing on assessment and collaborative interventions to support student learning and development. The role is designed to offer flexibility, with candidates able to work remotely; however, preference will be given to professionals available to provide onsite support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and testing to identify student needs
- Participate actively in Individualized Education Programs (IEP) meetings, contributing professional insights
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop appropriate interventions and supports
- Monitor student progress and adjust recommendations accordingly
- Provide counseling support and crisis intervention as needed to promote student well-being
- Maintain thorough and compliant documentation in alignment with school policies and legal requirements
Desired Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
- Certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with elementary-aged children (grades K-5)
- Strong knowledge of psychoeducational assessment tools and processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration
- Ability to work independently, particularly in a virtual setting, while maintaining engagement with the school community
