Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract opportunity is available for a School Psychologist specializing in elementary education, primarily serving students in grades K-5. This role focuses on conducting psychological assessments, interpreting test results, and participating actively in IEP meetings to develop and monitor educational plans that support student success.
Responsibilities include:
- Administering and scoring psychological tests to assess students' cognitive, behavioral, and emotional needs
- Collaborating closely with teachers, parents, and support staff during IEP meetings to design tailored interventions
- Providing consultation and recommendations based on assessment findings to enhance student learning and well-being
- Maintaining detailed, confidential records and reports in compliance with educational regulations and standards
- Supporting both onsite and remote learning environments, with a preference for candidates able to work onsite
Desired qualifications and experience:
- Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
- Certification and licensure as a school psychologist as required by the state
- Proven experience working with elementary-aged students (K-5) in educational settings
- Strong skills in psychological testing and IEP process facilitation
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Comfort with technology to support remote assessments and meetings when necessary
