Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A School Psychologist is needed to support elementary students, primarily in grades K-5, focusing on psychological testing and participating in IEP meetings. This contract role offers the opportunity to work within an educational setting that values thorough assessment and collaborative support for student success. Candidates located remotely may apply, but preference will be given to those able to provide onsite services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments for elementary students
- Collaborate with educators, families, and stakeholders during IEP meetings to develop and implement individualized education plans
- Provide recommendations based on assessment outcomes to support students academic and emotional needs
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school policies and procedures
- Serve as a consultative resource on student learning and mental health issues
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
- Experience working primarily with elementary-aged children (grades K-5)
- Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and IEP processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with families and school staff
- Ability to work independently in both remote and onsite environments
