Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract opportunity is available for a bilingual School Psychologist proficient in Russian to provide telehealth services in an elementary school setting. The role focuses on supporting a student with special needs who requires comprehensive evaluations and ongoing care coordination.
Location: Allentown, PA
Duration: October 20, 2025 June 5, 2026
Hours: Up to 5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, full-time schedule
Caseload: Managing one case a 5-year-old student with cerebral palsy, primarily Russian-speaking and English Language Learner (ELL)
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations in speech, physical therapy (PT), and occupational therapy (OT) to assess student needs
- Collaborate with a trained paraeducator responsible for feeding, toileting, and repositioning the student
- Provide telehealth support and assessments as required, beginning late October to early November
- Prepare evaluation reports and coordinate services based on findings
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid School Psychologist license
- Bilingual proficiency in Russian (both spoken and written)
- Experience working with students with complex disabilities, including cerebral palsy
- Knowledge of ELL student needs and culturally responsive assessment practices
- Ability to collaborate effectively with paraeducators and multidisciplinary teams
