Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A school psychologist position is available to support elementary students, primarily serving grades K-5. This role involves conducting psychological assessments, participating in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, and collaborating with educators and families to support student success. The position offers flexibility with remote candidates considered, though onsite presence in Cordova, TN, is preferred to foster direct engagement with students and staff.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments for elementary-aged students.
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and assist in developing individualized education plans.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to address student needs and provide appropriate interventions.
- Maintain accurate documentation and reports in compliance with school policies and regulations.
- Provide consultation and support for behavioral and educational strategies within the school environment.
Qualifications:
- Certification or licensure as a school psychologist.
- Experience working with elementary school students, preferably grades K-5.
