Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A rewarding opportunity is available for a School Psychologist specializing in supporting elementary students, primarily from Kindergarten through Grade 5. This contract position offers the flexibility of a remote setting, with a preference for candidates who can provide onsite support to best meet student needs.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive psychological assessments and testing for elementary-aged students
- Participating in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contributing to the development of tailored educational plans
- Collaborating with educators, parents, and other school personnel to support student success and provide appropriate interventions
- Monitoring student progress and adjusting strategies as necessary to address learning and behavioral goals
Preferred qualifications and experience:
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with elementary school students, particularly within grades K-5
- Strong assessment and diagnostic skills related to educational and psychological testing
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage in IEP meetings and interdisciplinary collaboration
- Ability to work independently in both remote and onsite environments as needed
