A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) specializing in telespeech and teletherapy services to support K-12 students in the Warren, MI area. This role involves delivering virtual speech therapy to elementary, middle, and high school students, with an emphasis on flexibility and tailored schedules.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing speech and language therapy via teletherapy platforms across K-12 grade levels.
- Conducting initial evaluations and assessments, particularly for younger students.
- Collaborating with school personnel to develop and implement individualized therapy plans.
- Documenting progress and maintaining accurate records in compliance with school and state regulations.
- Managing caseloads efficiently while adapting therapy approaches to meet diverse student needs.
Qualifications and desired experience:
- Active Michigan Speech-Language Pathologist license is required; license verification must be provided.
- Experience with teletherapy and telespeech service delivery.
- Previous work with school-aged children from elementary through high school.
- Strong assessment and evaluation skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
This contract position offers flexibility in choosing workdays and hours, with approximately 35 hours per week focused on middle and high school students, and 15-20 hours per week working with elementary students. The contract extends through June 12, 2026.
