Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract position is available for a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) providing teletherapy services within a virtual school setting. This role offers the opportunity to support K-12 students across multiple private school locations through remote speech-language intervention.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality speech-language pathology services via teletherapy to a diverse caseload of students in kindergarten through 12th grade
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide ongoing therapy tailored to each students needs
- Collaborate with educators and families to support student communication goals
- Maintain detailed documentation and comply with all regulatory and program requirements
Qualifications:
- Active North Carolina license as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) is required; candidates must be fully licensed SLPs (SLPA and SLP-CF applicants will not be considered)
- Experience providing teletherapy or telespeech services in an educational setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of communication disorders affecting school-age children
- Ability to manage a virtual caseload effectively with excellent organizational and communication skills
Location and Schedule:
- Position is virtual but serves students in Burlington, NC
- Full-time or part-time availability; typical hours are Monday through Friday, 35 hours per week
- Contract duration from ASAP through June 5, 2026
