Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced and bilingual Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) for full-time opportunities in Bastrop, TX for the upcoming school year. This position supports a hybrid work model (in-person and remote), providing flexibility while maintaining a high standard of care and collaboration with school-based teams.
Details:
- Location: Bastrop, TX
- Full Time: 37.5 hours per week
- Caseload: Elementary School, conducting testing and evaluations. The district likes to discuss more details at the time of interview to see the best fit based on experience.
Requirements Applicants Must Meet All Local and State Criteria: - Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid Texas Speech-Language Pathologist License issued by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR)
- Active Texas Education Agency (TEA) Certification for school-based SLPs (or willingness to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (required)
- Previous experience in a school setting is highly preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaborative skills
Responsibilities: - Provide remote speech and language therapy to students in K12 settings
- Conduct virtual assessments and evaluations using teletherapy platforms
- Develop and manage IEPs in collaboration with school teams
- Maintain detailed and timely documentation in compliance with state and district policies
- Regularly consult with educators, parents, and support staff
- Adapt instructional strategies to meet individual student needs in a virtual environment
