Blazer Jobs is currently interviewing qualified and experienced Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) for a full-time position within school districts in the Castle Rock, CO area. Position Overview:
The ideal candidate will provide diagnostic, therapeutic, and consultative services to students with speech and language needs, supporting their communication abilities in academic and social settings.
Key Responsibilities:

Evaluate students for speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders using appropriate assessment tools.

Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each students needs.

Provide direct therapy services to students in individual or group settings.

Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student development.

Document therapy sessions and maintain compliance with district and state reporting requirements.

Participate in IEP meetings, staff development, and team planning sessions.

Stay current on best practices, legal requirements, and innovative therapy techniques.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Applicants must meet the following local and state requirements for Colorado:

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.

Active Colorado Department of Education (CDE) Special Services Provider License with a Speech-Language Pathologist endorsement.

Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFs) may be considered with supervision available.

Valid Colorado state SLP license through the Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA).

Successful background check and fingerprint clearance.

Familiarity with IDEA and special education procedures in school settings.

Previous school-based or pediatric experience is a plus.
