Required Credentials (Colorado):

Bachelors degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders

Completion of a clinical practicum

Eligibility for SLPA Authorization through the Colorado Department of Education

Must prepare for transition to DORA SLPA credentialing by 2026 (per HB 25-1075)
