Applicants must meet the following qualifications to be considered:

Hold a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology

Possess an active Colorado State Speech-Language Pathologist license
-
Have prior experience as a Speech Language Pathologist in a school or educational setting

Meet all local and state employment requirements, including:

Completion of fingerprinting and background checks
-
Compliance with Colorado State Department of Education certification requirements
-
Adherence to state and federal regulations for speech and language services
Applicants who do not meet these requirements will not be considered for this role.
As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will:

Assess students' speech and language abilities to identify communication challenges
-
Provide therapy services for students with speech, language, and communication disorders
-
Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers and parents
-
Offer both direct therapy and consultative services to students as outlined in their IEPs
-
Track and document student progress and adjust therapy strategies as needed
-
Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and collaborative strategies

Advocate for students' communication needs within the educational setting
