Position Summary
The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant will collaborate with school-based OTs, educators, and student support teams to deliver occupational therapy services that promote independence and academic success. You will work directly with students in K-12 settings to implement IEP-driven therapy plans and monitor student progress.
Key Responsibilities

Assist in delivering occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed OT

Support student motor skills development and adaptive functioning

Document student performance and communicate progress to the team

Participate in IEP meetings and school staff consultations

Adhere to individualized plans and district protocols
Requirements Florida & Federal

Associates degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program

Current Florida COTA licensure
-
Active AOTA and CPR certifications (or ability to obtain)

Ability to pass background check and fingerprinting in compliance with Florida DOE standards

Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
