Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and licensed Physical Therapist (PT) to join a general education school team in San Francisco for the 20252026 school year. The position offers flexible scheduling and can be structured as either full-time or part-time based on candidate availability. The therapist will work with K12 students to promote access to the educational environment and support motor development.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct physical therapy evaluations for students referred for services

Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to address student mobility and motor needs

Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student goals

Provide direct and consultative physical therapy services within the school setting

Support student participation in educational activities through adapted equipment and strategies

Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to eligibility and goal development

Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines
Qualifications:

Masters or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program

Valid California Physical Therapy license

Pediatric or school-based experience preferred

Strong communication, collaboration, and time management skills
