Typical Job Duties:

Provide direct occupational therapy services to students as outlined in their IEPs

Assess students' functional skills and develop individualized treatment plans

Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support students access to the curriculum

Recommend and help implement adaptive equipment or classroom modifications

Document therapy sessions, student progress, and provide updates during IEP meetings

Support students in developing fine motor skills, sensory processing, and self-regulation abilities
Required Qualifications:

Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program

Active Washington OT license (or eligibility to obtain prior to start)

Current NBCOT certification

Prior school-based experience preferred

Knowledge of IEP process and documentation
