What Youll Be Doing
As a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in Elgin, youll assess, diagnose, and treat students with communication and language disorders. Youll collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support students academic and social development through individualized therapy services and interventions. Your role is critical in helping students find confidence and success in and out of the classroom.
Qualifications and Licensure
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet Illinois state licensure requirements for Speech-Language Pathology. A Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders is required. Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) is preferred, but Clinical Fellows (CFs) will be considered based on district guidelines. Prior school-based experience is helpful, though not required.
