Job Description:
As a school-based Occupational Therapist, you will work directly with students to support their ability to access the educational curriculum. Your role will include conducting evaluations, developing and implementing individualized therapy plans, collaborating with IEP teams, and providing direct and consultative services to help students develop or improve fine motor skills, self-care, sensory processing, and overall classroom participation.
Minimum Requirements:
Candidates must hold a valid Maryland Occupational Therapist license and meet all state and district-level requirements, including fingerprinting, background checks, and any necessary school-based clearances. A degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program is required, along with prior pediatric or school-based experience preferred.
