Requirements
Applicants must:

Hold a valid Pennsylvania Speech Language Pathology license

Possess a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or be a Clinical Fellow (CF) under supervision

Meet all local and state certification and compliance requirements

Pass all required background and fingerprinting checks

Have prior experience working with special education students and families (highly preferred)
Typical Responsibilities
-
Provide direct and indirect speech and language therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals
-
Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine students communication strengths and needs
-
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting speech, language, and communication skills
-
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success in academic settings
-
Document therapy sessions, progress, and attendance accurately, including make-up sessions when required
-
Participate in IEP meetings and assist in goal setting and progress monitoring
-
Provide consultation and training to staff and families on strategies that support communication development
-
Ensure all services and documentation comply with district, state, and federal requirements
