A unique opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide support within a K-12 educational setting in Kingston, PA. This contract role spans the current school year through June 9, 2026, focusing on delivering targeted therapy and interventions to students with autism, emotional disturbances, and multiple disabilities (MDS).
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech-language pathology services to a caseload that includes autistic, emotionally disturbed, and MDS students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each students unique needs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes in compliance with district and regulatory standards.
- Participate in meetings and provide guidance on communication strategies and accommodations within the classroom setting.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist Certification of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC).
- Experience in school-based SLP services, preferably K-12.
- Proven ability working with diverse student populations, including those with autism and emotional disturbances.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to effectively collaborate with educational staff and families.
- Flexibility and adaptability to manage a nearly full caseload.
