Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Job Duties

Conduct assessments, diagnose, and provide therapy for speech, language, and communication disorders

Develop and implement individualized education and treatment plans based on student needs

Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success

Track and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed

Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional input and recommendations

Ensure compliance with district, state, and federal education requirements
Federal and State Requirements

Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program

Current Wyoming SLP license required
-
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred

Knowledge of IDEA, Section 504, FERPA, and related education laws

Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills

Fingerprinting and background clearance as required by Wyoming school districts
