Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) Job Duties

Support licensed Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) in providing therapy services to students

Assist with implementing speech and language programs as outlined by supervising SLPs

Prepare materials and assist in documentation of student progress

Work one-on-one or in small groups to help students meet communication goals

Collaborate with teachers and parents to support student learning and engagement

Maintain compliance with all district, state, and federal regulations
Federal and State Requirements

Associates or Bachelors degree in Speech Language Pathology Assistant Studies or a related field

Active Wyoming SLPA license (or eligibility to obtain prior to start date)

Knowledge of IDEA, FERPA, and school-based service documentation

Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills

Fingerprinting and background check as required by the district
