Blazer Jobs is actively seeking an experienced Physical Therapist (PT) for a full-time, school-based position in Richardson, Texas, for the 20252026 school year. This position offers the opportunity to work directly with students to enhance their functional mobility, independence, and overall academic success.
About the Role
As a Physical Therapist, you will collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary support teams to help students access and participate fully in their educational environment. Your work will focus on improving gross motor skills, strength, posture, and movement to support both academic and social development.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and implement therapy aligned with IEP goals

Deliver direct and consultative PT services to students in individual and group settings

Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support student outcomes

Document student progress and maintain compliance with all district and state standards

Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
Qualifications

Active Texas Physical Therapy License (required)

Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred

Strong understanding of IEP implementation and IDEA compliance

Excellent communication, time management, and teamwork skills
