Position Overview:
St. Lucie public schools is seeking a highly qualified School Psychologist to provide services for students in grades K12 during the 20252026 academic year. This role focuses on delivering comprehensive assessment, consultation, and intervention services in an online environment, ensuring that each student receives the individualized support they need to succeed. Active FL School Psychologist certification/licensure is required.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct virtual psychoeducational assessments, re-evaluations, and functional behavior assessments

Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs)

Provide consultation and intervention strategies for academic, behavioral, and social-emotional development

Participate in eligibility meetings and maintain all required documentation in compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines

Adapt assessment and counseling techniques for a virtual delivery model
Qualifications:

Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology

Current FL School Psychologist certification/licensure

Experience in school-based settings

Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a remote team setting
