Blazer Jobs is currently interviewing experienced and passionate Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) for a part-time, school-based contract position in McVeytown, Pennsylvania. Requirements:

Must meet all local and state licensure requirements for Speech Language Pathologists in Pennsylvania

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders

Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred
-
Active Pennsylvania state license and/or PDE certification
-
School-based or pediatric experience highly preferred

Strong communication and collaboration skills
Typical Responsibilities:

Conduct speech and language assessments and develop individualized IEP goals

Provide direct and consultative therapy services to students across grade levels
-
Monitor student progress and maintain thorough documentation in compliance with state and district standards
-
Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student achievement
-
Offer strategies and resources to classroom staff to promote communication development throughout the school day
-
Use evidence-based interventions and assistive technology to enhance therapy effectiveness
-
Support inclusive practices and individualized learning needs within the classroom environment
