Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Full-Time Contract | McVeytown, PA
Blazer Jobs is currently interviewing experienced and compassionate Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) for a full-time, school-based contract position in McVeytown, Pennsylvania. This position will serve a preschool caseload (ages 35), providing early intervention and support to help children develop essential communication skills that build a foundation for lifelong learning.
Requirements:

Must meet all local and state licensure requirements for Speech Language Pathologists in Pennsylvania

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders

Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred
-
Active Pennsylvania state license and/or PDE certification
-
Experience working with preschool-aged children or early childhood programs highly preferred

Strong interpersonal, organizational, and collaboration skills
Typical Responsibilities:
-
Conduct speech and language screenings, assessments, and evaluations for preschool-aged students
-
Develop and implement individualized IEP goals and therapy plans in alignment with early childhood standards

Provide direct and consultative therapy services to children in individual and small group settings
-
Incorporate play-based and developmentally appropriate therapy techniques
-
Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in accordance with state and district guidelines
-
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support language and communication development
-
Participate in IEP meetings and assist families in understanding and supporting therapy goals
-
Use assistive communication tools and evidence-based strategies to enhance therapy effectiveness
