Hours: 32.5 hours/week, onsite at the elementary school

Caseload: Elementary students (specific caseload assigned based on school needs)

Compensation: Pay rate depends on experience. Renewal for the following school year is performance- and need-based.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct social work support and counseling to students.

Conduct assessments and develop individualized plans to address social, emotional, and behavioral needs.

Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to promote student success.

Facilitate small groups and provide crisis intervention as needed.

Connect families with community resources and services.
-
Maintain accurate records and reports in compliance with school and state regulations.
State Requirements:

Must hold a valid Illinois Social Worker License.

Minimum of a Bachelors or Masters degree in Social Work from an accredited program.

Knowledge of local social services, counseling techniques, and child development.
