A full-time bilingual Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in a K-12 school district located near Chicago, IL, with assignments starting as soon as possible through May 20, 2026. This contract role involves providing speech-language services across multiple school sites, supporting children from early childhood through elementary grades.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language pathology services to students in English and Spanish.
- Manage caseloads that may span up to two school locations.
- Perform evaluations and implement appropriate treatment plans.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to optimize student outcomes.
- Provide supervision to Clinical Fellows if applicable.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License with SLP endorsement.
- Illinois Speech Language Pathologist license.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
- Experience working in school settings with K-12 students.
- Ability to manage varied caseloads across multiple sites.
- Willingness to work exclusively on-site.
Assignment Details:
- Location: Elgin, IL (Chicago area).
- Full-time, 37.5 hours per week.
- Positions available across multiple sites, including early childhood centers and elementary schools.
- This position is on-site only; remote or voice-over-contract options are not available.
Working across locations such as IL Park, Independence, Timber Trails Elementary, and itinerant positions will provide diverse professional experiences while delivering essential services to students in need.
