Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time opportunity is available for a bilingual English/Spanish school psychologist to provide support within a K-12 public school setting in the Chicago area. This position will serve students from multiple school sites, offering a dynamic and rewarding environment to apply psychological expertise in an educational setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments for K-12 students to identify social, emotional, and learning needs.
- Develop and implement intervention strategies in collaboration with educators, parents, and support staff.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of student support plans.
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention services as needed.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with state and district regulations.
- Travel to multiple school sites within the district as required.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree or higher in Psychology.
- Valid Professional Educators License and Illinois School Psychologist License.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish required.
- Experience working with K-12 students in a school setting preferred.
- Strong communication, assessment, and intervention skills.
- Ability to manage caseload and work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
Location:
- Elgin, Illinois, within the Chicago metropolitan area.
- On-site position with no remote or VOCO options.
Work Details:
- Full-time contract position during the 2025-2026 school year.
- Up to 37.5 hours per week.
