School-Based Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

Position Overview:
Blazer Jobs is partnering with a school district in the Portland area to hire a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist for the current school year. This is a full-time, on-site role working with a pediatric student population. The ideal candidate brings prior school-based experience and a strong commitment to supporting communication and academic success for students.
Responsibilities:

Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students in K-12 settings

Conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and maintain accurate documentation

Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure student progress

Participate in IEP meetings, progress reviews, and multidisciplinary team discussions

Deliver services in compliance with district, state, and federal regulations
Requirements:

Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology

Active Oregon SLP License (Required)

ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred

Previous pediatric and/or school-based experience strongly preferred

Strong communication, time management, and collaboration skills
