An opportunity is available for a skilled professional specializing in behavior support within a K-12 school setting in Pottstown, PA. This contract role spans the current school year and focuses on providing expert behavior intervention and support to students, fostering a positive and productive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, design, and implement individualized behavior intervention plans tailored to student needs.
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to address behavioral challenges and promote positive outcomes.
- Monitor student progress and adjust plans as necessary to achieve desired goals.
- Provide training and guidance to school staff on behavior management strategies.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all regulatory requirements.
Desired Qualifications:
- Certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) preferred.
- Proven experience as a Behavior Specialist within K-12 educational settings.
- Strong knowledge of developmental, behavioral, and educational assessments.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases effectively.
