Speech-Language Pathologist Job Duties

Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, and communication disorders

Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to meet IEP goals

Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student outcomes

Maintain accurate records, progress reports, and compliance with district and state regulations

Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional input and recommendations
Federal and State Requirements

Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program

Active California SLP License required
-
ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) preferred

Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
