A contract position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist with expertise in school-based services, supporting students across grades K-12. This role requires a licensed SLP with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) to provide speech and language therapy within an educational setting. The contract spans the current school year, offering an opportunity to work directly with children and adolescents in a structured school environment in Dallas, TX.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations for students K-12.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to student needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with state and federal educational regulations.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary approaches in student care.
Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA.
- Experience working with children in school settings, preferably K-12.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage caseload effectively.
