A contract position is available for a Physical Therapist specializing in K-12 school settings, located in Richardson, TX. This role offers the opportunity to support students physical development and mobility within an educational environment throughout the school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide physical therapy services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student evaluations.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other healthcare professionals to support student progress.
- Document therapy sessions and maintain accurate records in compliance with school policies.
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to the development of student education plans.
Qualifications:
- Valid Physical Therapy license and credentials.
- Experience working within school-based physical therapy programs preferred.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, families, and educational staff.
- Knowledge of child development and school-based therapy interventions.
- Ability to manage caseloads efficiently within a school year contract.
