This contract position spans the complete school year and focuses on delivering high-quality speech and language services to diverse student populations. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in school-based speech pathology and demonstrate proficiency working in educational environments.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist credential appropriate for schools
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology preferred
- Experience providing speech and language evaluations and interventions in K-12 school settings
- Strong knowledge of educational regulations related to speech services and IEP processes
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with teachers, parents, and school staff
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with educational goals
- Provide direct therapy services to students individually and in small groups
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain compliance with applicable laws and school policies regarding speech services
