A K-12 school in Canton, MI is seeking a dedicated professional to provide comprehensive psychological services supporting student success throughout the school year. This contract position offers the opportunity to collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to promote a positive learning environment and address diverse student needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students K-12
- Develop and implement intervention plans tailored to individual student needs
- Consult with teachers, parents, and staff regarding student development and behavioral strategies
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate records and prepare reports according to district and state guidelines
- Support efforts in crisis intervention and prevention
Qualifications and Experience:
- Masters or doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
- Valid licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with diverse student populations in K-12 settings
- Strong knowledge of educational and psychological assessment tools
- Excellent communication and collaborative skills
- Ability to manage confidential information responsibly
