A K-8 educational setting in Longmont, CO is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a contract position spanning the current school year from December 1, 2025, to May 29, 2026. This role focuses primarily on providing direct speech and language services to a diverse caseload of 35-40 students, including mild to moderate and moderate to severe cases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students.
- Conduct assessments, evaluations, and referrals related to speech and language needs.
- Participate in IEP and 504 meetings and collaborate with educational staff.
- Provide consultation support as needed for student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with educational standards.
Desired Qualifications:
- Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with current state licensing.
- Experience working in K-8 school environments.
- Ability to manage a caseload with a range of speech and language needs.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working within multidisciplinary teams.
- Current CDE certification needed; candidates will participate in a prescreen call followed by an interview.
