Part-Time Occupational Therapist (OT) Job Duties

Provide evaluations and therapy services to students with fine motor, sensory, or functional challenges

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with student IEP goals

Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student independence and success

Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed

Participate in IEP meetings and provide expert recommendations

Ensure compliance with district, state, and federal requirements
Federal and State Requirements

Masters or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program

Current Arizona OT license required

Knowledge of IDEA, Section 504, FERPA, and other applicable education laws

Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Fingerprinting and background clearance as required by Arizona school districts
