A full-time school psychologist opportunity is available for the 2025/26 school year in Glendale, AZ, serving a K-12 school within the Phoenix area. This contract position will support the schools efforts to provide comprehensive psychoeducational services to students, aiding in their academic and social-emotional development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify student needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide counseling and intervention strategies to support student well-being
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to educational planning
- Ensure compliance with district policies and state regulations
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Arizona Department of Education certification in school psychology
- Valid IVP fingerprint clearance card
- Experience working in K-12 educational settings preferred
- Strong knowledge of psychoeducational assessment tools and techniques
- Ability to work full-time (35-37.5 hours per week) on-site; virtual or hybrid arrangements are not permitted
