A school-based social worker position is available at an elementary school in Dover, NH, for the current school year on a contract basis. This role focuses on supporting the social and emotional well-being of students, collaborating with educators, families, and community resources to promote a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct counseling and support to students facing social, emotional, or behavioral challenges.
- Conduct assessments and develop intervention plans tailored to individual student needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to create comprehensive support systems.
- Facilitate referrals to community resources and coordinate services when necessary.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to student success planning.
- Maintain accurate records and comply with confidentiality regulations.
