Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity is for a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide coverage for a maternity leave in a K-12 public school setting in the Portland area, Oregon. The assignment runs from mid-February through mid-May 2026, with approximately 20 hours per week.
Location: Beaverton, Oregon (Portland metro area)
Duration: February 19, 2026 May 14, 2026 (Leave coverage)
Schedule: Part-time, 20 hours per week
Caseload: K-12 students (specific caseload details to be determined)
Setting: On-site school environment
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language pathology services to students across all grade levels (K-12)
- Conduct assessments, develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to support student communication goals
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and state requirements
- Participate in team meetings and IEP planning as needed
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Current licensure from the Oregon Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience working in school-based settings preferred
- Strong knowledge of pediatric speech and language disorders and effective intervention strategies
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload and work collaboratively within an educational team
