This contract position offers the opportunity to provide essential speech-language pathology services within multiple school settings across the Jacksonville area. Ideal candidates will have a passion for supporting students with mild to moderate speech and language needs, working itinerantly to impact a diverse caseload.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language pathology services to Pre-K through 12th-grade students with mild to moderate communication disorders.
- Manage an estimated caseload of approximately 60 students, adapting to the unique needs of each individual.
- Work across multiple school sites in the Jacksonville area as an itinerant therapist.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation as required by state and district guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant licensure and regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
- Active Florida Department of Health Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) licensure is required.
- Experience providing services within K-12 school settings, ideally with itinerant roles.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Commitment to student-centered care and evidence-based practice.
Location: Orange Park, FL, with travel between multiple schools in the Jacksonville area.
Schedule: 35 hours per week, full school year contract from ASAP through May 28, 2026.
