This opportunity seeks a dedicated Occupational Therapist to serve a K-8 student population across four schools within the St. Johns County district. The position is based in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL, and involves itinerant work among Cunningham Creek Elementary, Hickory Creek Elementary, Valley Ridge Academy, and Pine Island Academy. This contract role begins January 5, 2025, and runs through March 27, 2026, with a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week.
Key responsibilities include providing occupational therapy services focused on make-up minutes to support students developmental and educational goals. The therapist will collaborate with school teams to design interventions that facilitate student engagement and success.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Florida Occupational Therapist license required
- Experience working with children in school-based settings, particularly ages K-8
- Ability to manage an itinerant caseload across multiple school sites
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with school staff and families
